Fire

Not quite sure where this day has gone again. Up at 7 to try and book a tee time for tomorrow; successful this time (to much relief all round!) family Zoom meeting after breakfast then baking the weekly bread.

Guess who turned the oven full on when he meant to turn on the Rise function with the tea towel still on top of the loaves? Fortunately I realised after about ten minutes and managed to peel the towel off only removing a thin layer of dough so that the finished loaves have a top reminiscent of the surface of the Moon.

Managed a quick bike ride this afternoon, in between faffing with the new phone and waiting for an Amazon delivery.

Today's lunchtime lockdown LP was Osibisa's Happy Children from 1973.
