Surprise visit

A dry day with some light showers

Catching up on some Admin in the morning then in the early afternoon a Zoom call with my friend, who looked much better.

Just before going out for our walk this group of cartoon people passed outside our door. Didn’t have time to ask who they were and I am not sure who they were meant to be - but they were a nice surprise.

Our walk was 3.3 miles, a circular route through open spaces between housing estates and then back along the Dichtie Water. We had another surprise, a heron standing on the opposite bank, so still we thought it was a statue. That changed when it flapped it’s wings and flew along the Water - magnificent. We had a light shower for the last few minutes of the walk.
