When the Bird Matches the Tree

Dear Diary,

Auntie's Tree is none the worse for wear after our snow the other day.  The  lovely red leaves are filling out nicely. The gorgeous flowers will soon follow. I thought it was rather nice that the leaves match Poppa Finch!  It is so nice to see the sun shining too even if our mornings are a bit cold for May.  The grass will have its first mow this week.  With all the rain we've had, it needs it.  Even if it seems the whole world has put the brakes on and ground to a halt, nature goes on and somehow that seems very reassuring to me.
