What a huge drop in temperature compared to the high of yesterday. There was even a layer of frost on the roof of Ros' car at seven o'clock.

It was not a day for working on the Bentley as it was too cold to paint and far to windy. I got waylaid for most of the morning making two more pop bottle wind turbines from a design I found on YouTube yesterday. I made a small prototype out of two small 500cc pop bottles and after a bit of adjustment that worked so well that I advanced on to 2 litre bottles which also worked well but being bigger itvdid not spin so quickly.

I was finally stopped from making more wind turbines by the arrival of the two 1,500 grit sponge sanding pads which meant that I could get on and flat back the panels on the Bentley that I'd topcoated a couple of days ago. It's rather soul destroying taking a nice shiny basically smooth surface and turning it into a dull mat finish. However with that said the rubbing down took away any small runs orange peel and blemishes leaving a good smooth solid surface ready for the final lacquer coat. I'm amazed the sanding sponges came so quickly as I'd only ordered them off ebay on Saturday. Amazing service.

In fact these pads work so well I've ordered another two as they tend lose their grittiness after two or three panels but I may be able to used them to gently flat back the lacquer coat before polishing.

ALL THIS WAS BEING LOADED ONTO A COMPUTER AT REAL TIME . 


I BOUGHT MY 2 BOLTS AND LEFT 


WOW .AND ITS ALL TO DO WITH CONTACT TRACING ,I THINK .THEY TAKE IT SERIOUS HERE ,EVEN WITH JUST 55 DEATHS AMONG THE 80 MILLION .
