No Poppies

For the first time since I've had my allotment I have no poppies! I'm so disappointed. But the Verbena Borealis are coming up and the foxgloves are flowering so I shall just have to be content with them! 
I had a good tidy up of parts of my plot in the morning before the rain came,  I also put in my dahlias. Loads more still to do but I'm doing it slowly and hopefully by the end of summer I may have tidied all the beds and have my winter veg in! Luckily the rain stopped by the  time I got to the field  for Oscars playdate!
