Church in the Cemetery
We were at Sam's Club (a huge warehouse type store) at 8 a.m. this morning. Why? Because we could. On Sunday morning from 8-10, they have special hours for health care workers. (And their spouses.)
We picked up some food and some disinfectant wipes, and somebody from our church (Patti) texted Lisa to tell her she had some face masks for her. The problem?
Our church is now online, and it was church time (10:30). We didn't want to interrupt the service that all of us were listening to. So, we pulled into the local cemetery, and had church at the headstone of Church, and then picked up the masks.
Many people were there, and I assume many were visiting the graves of their mothers on Mother's Day.
The statue reminded me of my mother, who passed in March of 2008.
Quite simply...I miss her.
