Day 53
Up earlyish breakfasted and went for a walk via the shops picking up bread and calling in the pharmacy and post office. Why do all my family have birthdays in May. 3 in Canada and 2 in Cornwall.
Sat and read then picked up that buttons were needed for mask extensions for nurses. So sorted the appropriate size and dropped them off with the lady concerned . I only had 19 but others are contributing too.
When we got home I decided to trim the rosemary in the front and had a conversation with a lovely lady we often meet in Costa. Y the time we hD finished nattering Canada was on a FaceTime call with grandad. It ended abruptly with a tantrum because mummy wasn’t doing what she wanted. The joys of an almost two year old!
Grilled salmon for dinner and a relaxing evening ahead
The rose was given to us by a neighbour a couple of years ago as he was throwing it out. The colour is lovely and we nursed it through a hot summer with the wrong type of year planting and it survived.
