Day 52 VE day

52 days since we had to go into quarantine as Alan had the virus. So much has happened around the world since then with many countries going into lockdown and closing borders . Companies going into liquidation. Panic buying, more shopping online. No contact with famous or friends. missed celebrations. If it hadn't been for this virus we would not have seen our Canadian grand daughter start to develop into a real character. So positives have come out of this.
We would have been in London celebrating VE day if it hadnt been for the lock down. We missed the red arrows flying over the town this morning but watched them on television later. Many people had buntings up and had decorated their windows. A couple of roads near us had street parties with social distancing.
The picture is our neighbours window and our window has the union Flag painted on it. Alan was out early this morning doing it.
