Towards Hoy (Day 1828)

Not quite such a sunny day today, and with  my beautiful wife due to be at work in the afternoon, we made our way to Stromness to get the horses out this morning. Whilst HV poo picked the field, I set about cleaning out the water trough, not the most pleasant job in the world, but it has been neglected for too long. With the icky jobs out of the way, we saddled up the George and Bessie and got out for a really nice ride.
I feel like my riding has really improved this past while and I am not thinking about everything I am doing now. It is quite easy to feel comfortable and relaxed on George.
Back home for lunch, and a woofer wander. Later, when HV zoomed to work I took the woofers through to Mum and Dad's and they helped Mum in the garden while I did some strimming then more rotavating.
