Freedom?

From Tuesday the over 70s were allowed drive, cycle or walk within 5kms of their home provided they met no one or touched anything.  After 5 weeks of 'cocooning' I ventured out on Wednesday, cycling to a nearby forest, and Susan drove there with her cob Molly. We are fortunate to have this state forest nearby, and a real bicycle on the road with the breeze in the remaining hair is much better that the static exercise bike in the spare bedroom. It is good to have alternative places to take photographs other than the home place and we look forward to further easing of restrictions.  It is strange to be looking forward to the jab of a needle, (presuming that any vaccine against Covid_19 will be in that form), but the last time I was in such a position was with an extremely painful abscess on a tooth many years ago and I remember the relief when that needle penetrated my gum.
