Memories

The Road Runners Journal arrived today with another interesting collection of stamps. I was talking to R about the Beatles yesterday as she sent me a picture showing her new hairstyle. It reminded me of the Beatles in the 1960’s. She cannot wait to get an appointment and get back to her normal short style!!

We spent hours cutting the Hawthorne hedge at the side of the house. The chap next door replaced the fence at the other side of it recently and was able to tidy up the ‘backside’ of it. Now we can try to get rid of the ivy which has strangled it and make it look respectable.

I had several roles whilst B was up and down the ladder wielding the electric hedge trimmer. The most important was health and safety officer!!! Amber was on the drive with us off lead. So it was interesting to see how well she behaved. Not sure if I would be saying this if a cat had appeared!!!
