The Young Gender non-specific Robin

I don’t know if the main image is a young female or a young male but I presume the extra is an older male or female. A quick google shows very little consensus on the subject

Attached a 1.4x teleconverter to my 200-500 Zoom in the hope of getting closer and more detail. It turns the usual f5.6 lens into an f8 lens. A 30 minute session this afternoon got me my first decent pictures of our resident Robins and I’m very pleased how they turned out.

In other news...

The larger robot mower arrived today. It will hopefully cope with  2/3rds of what I call the park lawns or 6,000m2. The wire should be installed in 9 days time all being well and then mower magic will happen.
