Lunch

The osprey was early today.  He came back twice which I wasn't expecting.  On the second trip I saw him fly by which is the warning to get the camera but I didn't move fast enough.  He must have been hungry because he wasted no time.  He dove for his meal before I could get going but I actually just enjoyed watching him as he came up out of the water with his catch.  I never tire of seeing his precision and I marvel at how he locates his catch before he dives.  His eyesight must be unbelievable.  This time he was harassed by a crow, something I'd never seen before.  I've seen crows go after an eagle but never an osprey.  I put a blurry shot of that event in Extra.  (Because of a minor malfunction with my camera I had to reset it to factory settings and I haven't got it back the way I like it so I'm not tracking fast moving objects very well with the current settings).
