Close, But......

....not quite a perfect photo day.  It was a little too much for my skill level.  

It started with the perfect sky (Extra), white puffy clouds interspersed with dark "looks like rain" clouds.  Add a rainbow to that, throw in an osprey and then a heron and it was more than I could handle.  I was trying to get the osprey as he crossed the rainbow but he was too fast for me.  Most of the shots of him diving are out of focus. (Extra)  I got him later after he caught his dinner (Extra) and the heron moves so slowly that you'd have to be minus a couple arms and half blind to miss that shot. He just leisurely moseyed up and down the riverbank as usual, but no game of hide and seek this time. (Extra)  

Nothing like an embarrassment of riches.
