Lockdown Day 43 - Fiery Briefing

If the sun is out, this is how I often watch the daily government briefing at 5pm. The briefing is not itself fiery - thankfully, everyone is civil, though tough questions are often asked. I appreciate that. We don’t need the drama that goes on elsewhere during this awful time.

No, the fiery is the ginger beer and the wasabi snacks that are in the bowl. Both delicious. The snacks vary. Sometimes it’s a cup of tea. Which of course is always what the British make in a time of crisis. (“Oh dear!! That’s awful! Poor you! Shall we put the kettle on?”)

Today a VERY large box was delivered. It’s something I ordered a couple of weeks ago. A last splurge before the looming financial austerity in my life. I thought it was never going to come. All will be revealed in coming days!
