Still In A Lull

Cloudy, windy and much colder today, I struggled for inspiration. I had thought to try another still/blurry image like this one, but when I came to combine them, there was not enough of the other flowers blowing about except the few I wanted to keep sharp.

And in the sharp frame there was a narrow depth of field so the background flowers were out of focus anyway. To make it work I need to be further away and then the subject has to be bigger.

Still, I was pleased how sharp I was able to catch them by being patient and waiting for a lull in the wind. And the low light helps to show off the brilliant colours.
