Bugle

In parts of our woodland, the older oak trees have reaches 10 years and where grouped together are beginning to affect the ecology of the ground beneath.  In one such grove the grass has been suppressed and this plant, identified as Bugle, has appeared.  It is interesting to see the changing plant populations on the ground as the forest develops.
