Alyssum...

...growing under the tree in our front yard, & the tiny purple flowers are just starting to bloom. Once they’re all open they make such a pretty ring of purple around the trunk . I feel so accomplished today. I’d ordered a few groceries for pick-up at 7 am, so was up at 6:40 & out of the house by 6:50. I pulled in the pick-up slot at 7 & a young man came walking out with my groceries, put them in the trunk & I was off—in under 2 minutes! When I got home I made strawberry filled crepes for Toms’ & my breakfast, then made a cucumber salad to go with dinner this eve. Then, seeing my bananas were getting really ripe, I made two dozen cinnamon banana muffins, & while they baked I went for a walk, & it wasn’t even noon yet. Then my daughter texted that they were going to stop by to say hello—from inside the car—so I packed up some muffins for them. While talking to Mae, via the cell phone from inside the car, she asked me if I had any cuties (a brand of really small, sweet oranges) because she sure was hungry for them. So of course I packed up some cuties for her & put the bag on the porch & went inside while my daughter came & took the bag. We got to see Noelia through the window too—she sure has grown! Wish we could have hugged them, but hopefully soon! Thanks to wrperry/Wendy for hosting TinyTuesday. :))
