Green
I woke at 6am. Suddenly. Out of a nightmare. So I decided to just get up. I got the ironing done before breakfast and then we started reading The Wizard of Oz. After that they played basketball in the garden and did some bowling and dancing on the Wii whilst I cleaned our bedroom.
Lunch was followed by a drama session on Zoom, and some sports theory, Hama beads, english and maths worksheets and a walk in the park.
According to the "zones of regulation" you need to be in the green zone to be alert and focussed and ready to learn or work productively. I find the best way to get into the green zone is to walk in the green stuff itself.
After our walk we sat in the sunshine in the garden and dinner was followed by games and a zoom chat for our eldest with his college housemates.
I'm hoping for another green day tomorrow....
