More volunteering

Meal delivery round the hospital today, all covid patients are elsewhere. Was pretty surprised/shocked/disappointed how many wards were shut, how few beds were in use for normal medical procedures. Also saw the best and worst of both people and systems.
Another patch of garden reorganised with drainage added, then a long wander at Sunbiggin Tarn with my (as of today, May the fourth...) bride of 20 years. Good to just chatter and let the subconscious process the day and how I felt about it.
As ever being in nature felt like a lovely reset; walking through hundreds of orchids, thousands of anenomes and then finding these little rarities in extras, birdseye primrose. All under a gloriously blue sky full of skylarks.
