LOCK DOWN – DAY 42
Six weeks in lock down and according to Nicola Sturgeon we're probably going to have to stick at this for another three weeks. Ann totally agrees that it would be madness to come out of lock down too soon but it's still hard. To be honest, my human has never really been interested in politics before but she really admires Nicola Sturgeon and is just really glad that she doesn't have to do her job.
Having said that Ann is going stir crazy and can't wait to get back to work. I really don't know what she would have done if she didn't have me. I give her a reason to get up and get dressed every day. And I know it's not Ann's fault; but at the beginning of the year, she'd told me that we were going to have so many adventures together. Ann likes to have little challenges to do each month and her May & June challenge was going to be walking the 134 miles of the Fife Coast Path. Obviously that's not happening. Grrrrrr...................
Anyway today we took a little stroll down the High Street to see what was happening. Nothing was happening.
Walked home via the Meadows and I found a bunny. Not a real one, but a stuffed toy one. I ran around with it for ages and then when Ann captured me and put me back on my lead a young girl with a toddler in a buggy approached Ann and said it belonged to her baby. So I had to give it back. Grrrr.................
And the sun is shining now but it's been a bit rainy and cold today. We even had to have the heating on this morning. And that's it. Nothing else to say, apart from the fact that the song lyrics, 'Please release me, let me go', keep popping into Ann's head?!!!!
