Tulips in da Sunshine
A lovely sunny day. Warm in the sun, but that breeze was cold again. It clouded over after lunch, with a heavy shower, including some hail. A sunny cooler evening.
Up early, and headed out into the garden after breakfast. First job was to finish the decking painting. I got some cuttings from a friend, and been planting them this afternoon. Cousin Victor popped by and a yarn over the fence. Headed down to mam's, and dumped some garden waste, then popped by sister Laura for a brief chat. Feet up by the fire now.
A lovely day for walkies with Sammy. I may not be on holidays in Cyprus, but I'm fairly getting a Shetland crofter t-shirt tan. I'm not the only one enjoying the sunshine, the flowers are loving it too. These tulips were looking stunning, and enhanced colours with the bright sun. Taken on Castle Street, Scalloway.
