By the canal

I got up early as the sun was shining and decided to walk down to the canal and sit on the bench and then walk back the road way again home. It was a lovely walk down to the canal, there were only cyclists about. I heard a very strange noise in a tree and it turned out to be a squirrel. It ran off as I got nearer. Down at the canal a man told me he had just seen a deer swimming  across the canal, he said it was amazing. I sat on the bench and it was lovely, only one lot of walkers but a few cyclists so I decided to walk along the canal and up home via the fields. It was lovely and so glad I did it, it really lifted my spirits that had been flagging. I saw the deer hiding in the leaves. in the extra. I was home by 10.30 and went to mass at the Cathedral. I got a lovely video from my niece of Oscar opening the parcel I sent him for his birthday,.  I did 2 videos sat by the canal one for Oscar singing happy birthday and one for Sahara.  Had a lovely FaceTime with Sahara this evening, its so lovely just watching her dancing and playing, I missed videoing her sing atuna macuta from the Lion King! A poor screen shot of her with the cat Misty in the extras.
