Mint
What could be more typical for a Saturday in May?
Farm shop and laundry in the morning. Gardening in the afternoon. Something good to eat for dinner.
Like last week, a 20 minute drive to the farm shop seemed like being transported to another world. The shop itself has settled into being semi-deserted (at least at 9am) with just a trickle of customers. I took my face covering with me like a good wee citizen, and then forgot to put it on after I washed my hands.
Oh, well. I never claimed to be perfect.
While gardening I noticed some new growth on the mint, and turned that into my first mint tea of 2020. I even drank it outside in the sun!
