At about the same time that the deadly virus was erupting in China, I went online to buy a big haul of flower bulbs in a plant site’s sale. It seemed like a good idea for brightening up the garden, come the spring. Little did I know how much time I would be spending looking at the flowers, and being hugely thankful for such a timely planting!
