Lockdown: Day 39

A morning walk up through Stock Ghyll woods and then I carried on uphill until I reached the footpath that runs above Ambleside on the east side.

Two extras from this path. The first is the view to the Coniston fells which is similar to several I've blipped previously and the second looks to Red Screes.

The light in the woods was so good that I could have spent ages there photographing bluebells, wild garlic, stitchwort and more, but then I wouldn't have got the exercise.

There were more people around the shops with a queue for the post office (now only open 3 mornings each week) and the butchers. I only saw two people outside the village ....... a runner coming down Wansfell at speed and a lady walking her dogs.
