Window display

We took our usual weekly delivery to the primary school in the neighbouring village and the headteacher told us to look in one of the windows. The children had decided to make a display to thank us which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. It has been a day of showers and a cool wind. I went for a walk but didn’t linger. Instead, in the afternoon, I decided to test my literary abilities and wrote a lockdown sonnet!
