West Street

It is a challenge to get a shot of Dorking that has no traffic. This town on the A25 has never been properly by-passed and is choked with cars and lorries plying the route between Reigate and Guildford. West Street is famous for its antique shops which are housed in lovely old buildings. In amongst them is a new shop selling a huge range of highly expensive decorative knitting wools. I had an enjoyable browse but wasn't in a buying mood. I browsed in Marks and Spencer and didn't buy anything there either!
