Empty High School
Some showers this morning, and a couple at teatime. A warmer day, especially when the sun was out.
A busy morning at the picnic table desk. The morning started with doing illustrations for some online quiz and activity sheets, for the museum website. I had photo orders to put to Lerwick in the afternoon. Been busy in the garden this evening. Potted up strawberry runners, and separated some plants and moved them, I even found juicy earthworm. Walkies with Sammy, and now feet up. 7 days without new Coronavirus cases. Biggest problem now will be complacency, we still need to keep our wits about us.
While I was in town, I took a brisk walk with Sammy. The town was really quiet, thankfully. As I came by the loch, next stop was the high school. It should have been a busy place, with bairns and teachers studying in school, but all is quiet. Wonder if Shetland can ease lockdown sooner? Being an island, we can and are cut off from outsiders.
