At Last
Sunshine on a fine evening, picking out new growth on a bush overhanging the inlet. It's great to see some new leaves at last. The bright twigs and branches really stand out against the dark shadow cast over the water behind.
Shots like this are not technical, but they still require work to find and recognise them for what they are and make the most of the opportunity. Taken at 243mm, the depth of field is quite narrow and helps to draw attention to the subject. I'm really quite liking using the 100-400, despite it being a bit cumbersome.
