Haymaking

I dropped a friend off after lunch and am seriously glad I'm not her - looks like she'll be haymaking this afternoon and it is furiously hot out there.

So hot that I tossed up whether to post this photo of this one. Went with the hay as the temp was only taken on my phone - and it's a crappy poor camera on it.

I got home from work at 4.30 and it was darn near too hot to enter the house. For those of you on Fahrenheit - that's 112 outside and about 94 inside. I do realise that the official high for the day won't be this - but this is my reality.
