I am trying to do a different wildflower each week so these are wild gooseberry flowers.  There are bushes of wild gooseberries in many of the local woods with their flowers now beginning to develop into berries and although the fruit tends to be smaller than the cultivated variety there will be plenty to stew or for small pies later in the year.   More food for free!
