Funny Looking Dog...

She didn't bark or get excited when this lamb wandered along the tow path gardens, she just looked bemused. The lamb soon found its way back to mama. 

Yes, we're down at the boat. The lady who owns the moorings said she was OK with us coming here as nobody else is here. 
I'm glad I decided to come with Frank as the boat was filthy inside! Frank has been sanding down and painting the top and wire brushing the stove and flue pipe. He had cleaned up afterwards but obviously not to my extremely high standard! There was a fine layer of black dust everywhere. He'd had the windows closed when he was sanding outside but I think it must have come in through the vents.
It's taken me all day to scrub and clean everywhere but now it's done and the freshly laundered curtains are back up.

Tomorrow Frank has to do another coat of paint with only a light sand down first :-\.

I will be doing the mooring garden which is also in dire need of attention. Some plant's have died due the dryness. It's 7 weeks since we were last here. It felt odd going in the car after so long.
