Original from the 1960's and ....

..... beyond!
This lilac was a cutting from a cutting - - - - - I'll explain .... When my parents move to a cute little cottage in Shropshire in the 60's the garden was rather overgrown but gradually my father unearthed some great shrubs and Apple trees ( a piece of land opposite the cottage also belonged to them and most likely had been an Orchard) this lovely White Lilac was one of the beauties. However when my parents died we took a cutting , not knowing we'd have any success . So as I move from our last house another cutting was taken which I put into a large tub. I've been here 25 years , such an old tree still giving pleasure.
The weather has changed from yesterday ( rain tomorrow promised?) but still dry at the moment.
