It has taken just over 24 hours for more than two million Australians to download the tracing app.

I haven't downloaded it yet, as there are bugs with iphone, which I suspect will be sorted in the next week or so.


Australia recorded 10 new cases, with 2 in NSW. Gladys said she would begin easing restrictions, with rollbacks to be announced twice a month.


There's still much debate about the return of children to school and the effect this isolation will be having on many children who might have learning or social difficulties.


Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on his return to Downing Street, that lockdown measures would remain for weeks if not months in the UK. Johnson resumed his duties after contracting the virus in early April. He thanked Britons for their "sheer grit and guts" and asked for their patience as the UK approached the end of "the first phase of this conflict."
