Princes Street

Lockdown Day 34: we haven’t been out for exercise at all during the lockdown, apart from a Sunday walk each week. We thought we’d get up early today and get into town before most people were out of bed.

It was so quiet as we reached the Royal Mile. It’s odd to see such busy tourist hotspots completely devoid of people. The castle esplanade was completely empty.

Then on Princes Street, I was able to squat in the middle of the road, and get this shot with nothing on the entire length of the street.

Home by 9am for breakfast, a nap, and more Marvel later.
