Ransoms Lockdown

A run this morning revealed a new route. What a delight with Bluebells and Spotted Orchids. It also avoided a dusty farm track which has a blind bend but did have quite a steep climb.

It was lovely to have a social distance chat with middle son Matthew who popped round to collect and drop of various bits and bobs. I was in the middle of baking so positioned myself in line with the front door to take part in the conversation. Both Matthew and Mary have May birthdays so we are trying to find a way to celebrate at a distance.

Pleased with my Parmesan and Roast Tomato quiche which we ate this evening. The bonus jam tarts are already reducing in number.

Rather liked the Wild Garlic along the woodland edge. They looked as though they were trying to breakout......I suspect like a lot of us. So important we stick to social distancing despite the wonderful weather.

Stay safe everyone.
