Bygone Harrogate

….. well not quite, as this shot of the Crown Hotel was taken this afternoon.

Normally it is tricky to take town centre shots without cars or people in them. I took advantage of the quiet streets to take this one, and made it look a bit like the old photographs we often see with deserted streets. Unfortunatley I couldn't do anything to hide the modern street furniture.
This is the side of the Crown Hotel taken from Montpellier Road. I actually think it looks better in mono than in colour.
