The tide is out

This morning it was heavy rain which didn't stop until early afternoon. I didn't think I would be blipping blue skies again for a few days, however the weather does seem to change quickly at this time of year. This afternoon we went (armed with waterproofs) for a stroll along the other side of the Gironde peninsula. This is the old Port St. Vivien which has clearly not been an active port for many years.
