Le paon du jour

The butterflies seem to have deserted me today. I saw Small White, Holly Blue, Orange Tip, Speckled Wood and a solitary Peacock. In France this is called Le paon du jour to distinguish it from Le paon de nuit which is the Emperor Moth. Looking at it more closely this one maybe a female, so presumably la paonne du jour.
