Silver Y

I treated myself to a new moth trap as my old one, which has been well used over the last couple of years, is looking a bit ragged. It’s been out for a few nights without any results, but last night, finally, I trapped this handsome Silver Y. It’s usually a day- flying moth and is most frequent in late Summer. But then we are living in strange times!
