Plain English Campaign

I have spent well over half an hour on the phone today to try to make some sense of this DVLA document.

At one point, having phoned their number, pressed a number of 'option' numbers and spoken, with no joy whatsoever to a lady who clearly knew nothing about what I was talking, she asked me, "should I put you through to the DVLA?"

I was left waiting, hung up and started again.

And I'm still not a lot wiser than when the day started.

Their leaflet does not make sense and contradicts itself on a number of occasions. And there is nobody in a position of any authority to clarify the matter.

But if I get stopped and don't have my licence details in place...............

This is a worry!
