At the river

Back down to the Lune for this afternoon's walk. Dan suggested we leave the 'formal' pathway and go off-road, down onto the rough path alongside the  river. This the view from there, looking downstream back towards the bridge. 

It's such amazing weather we've had all the way through the lockdown and it looks set to continue, at least as far as my weather app is concerned. (I use Weather Pro rather than the native iPhone app after Bob amazed me with its accuracy a couple of years ago.)

I can't imagine how much more difficult this would have been mentally if I hadn't been able to get out for a daily walk with Dan. I wonder if we'll still manage if the weather does turn? I'd like to think we'll try.
