Blossom time

It being Spring is a consolation in our present predicament. These trees in Chertsey Road are a riot of cherry blossom. Chertsey Road is one of the main roads leading into Chobham. Running more or less parallel to it at the other end of the High Street is  Station Road. There is no station in Station Road nor, indeed, any railway track. Presumably it was an aspiration at the time! The nearest station is Woking about 4 miles away which, in normal times, has a very frequent service to London Waterloo. Genesis fans will know that Peter Gabriel was born and raised in Chobham.
