Cold Frame

The grow table Andy constructed at the weekend.  I've started using it as a cold frame, a place to put my seedlings which are strong enough to be outside of the greenhouse during the day, and where they can be (relatively!) safe from Merlin.   I can cover this up at night or put the plants back in the greenhouse.  It is a slight overstatement to say 'greenhouse' - is one of those small green plastic affairs but it works really well and cost a lot less.  I was able to spend my lunch break today planting out beetroot and parsley into the raised beds and potting on my tomato plants - that's an improvement to taking a rushed walk at work!  Although there is still lots to do, I'm appreciating the slower pace of life just now.
