Lockdown Day 30 - SpaceX Starlink Satellites
I'd seen news reports about these satellites, being sent up in batches of 60 at a time, with the aim of beaming high speed internet down to earth.
I thought it was worth a go to see if I could capture them passing overhead, even though it wasn't completely dark at the transit time of 9:30 pm BST. My best chance was with my widest aperture lens, the 50 mm, which I focused on the Plough. Luckily I just managed to catch 4 of them passing through the constellation. This was a 3 second exposure, which freezes the stars but the speed of the satellites is clear from the streaks they created across the sky.
