As I looked out of the kitchen window when I came in from work, I noticed the Swan on the river, quickly grabbed my camera and blip sorted. I think it is one of last years Cygnets as the wing feathers are still rather grey and it looks a youngster. The first glimpse I had of it is in extras.
Not a good day today, we lost a resident to the damned Coronavirus, such a lovely man passed away in hospital. Both he and his sister have been with us for 17 years and are like old friends, I hope she will be OK as she has Dementia and mightn't be able to take in what has happened, but we have some wonderful carers who I know will be there for her.
I had to talk about it so phoned my son when I got home, we had a long chat and no sooner had I put the phone down and it rang again, it was my grandson pleading with me to stay at home, you can imagine how I feel after that, such a sweetheart, bless his heart.
