Creative genius
OK, well not that creative! You can take the teacher out of the classroom but you can't remove that ingrained need to create child focused activities. I used to dread 'art' lessons when I was teaching - dreaming up Christmas and Easter activities every year used to reduce me to a gibbering wreck.
This is my thank you to all those who are delivering to us at the moment. Not an original idea, as I say I'm not creative, so thanks to Nadinepierce for triggering the inclination.
Anybody sensible of course would have used a sensible sized piece of stone, I used a piece of slab that I can scarcely lift, ah well. Next time! I also only had water based paints so I've had to buy a can of spray lacquer in order to fix it so I can leave it outside! I do think it looks smart outside the front door though, I do hope that those I'm thanking think it worth while. (extra)
Today seemed warmer, not dramatically but a little. I pottered in the garden again, I've still got the peas covered overnight and I've put out the sweepea plants which I bought online. They are really poor quality but they're covered overnight, I'm hoping that some will survive. I daren't leave them indoors or Pickle will eat them.
Out for a walk before tea then looking forward something special with our roast chicken from Buffalo Farm butchers.
Keep well everybody and do keep safe, hopefully we're getting there
