San Francisco in great weather

Yesterday afternoon (yes, cheating again) I took a glorious walk along San Francisco’s marina with my friend Patty. We started at the Palace of Fine Arts, pictured here — a 1915 building designed by Bernard Maybeck for the International Pacific Exposition. Then we walked all the way to the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge (see extra) and back again. Patty was pleased to have done her 10,000 steps for the day; as for me, I was just delighted to be outdoors in such a beautiful place on such a beautiful day. (Public health note: we arrived in separate cars and maintained our 6-foot distance at all times.)
