April flowers...

...are unlikely to bring May showers here (where it rarely rains from April to October), but they are a delight to see. This is my late-blooming red camellia bush, which last year flowered for the first time —once — and this year promises to produce four or five blooms. The extra is the first two blossoms on the purple clematis vine, soon to be accompanied by many more.
